The Preferences menu lets you control several useful options: • Grid Drags forces tiles to line up neatly when you drag them to different locations. To change the placement and spacing of the grid, see Tile Placement. • Ignore ⌘Q for Quit removes the keyboard shortcut from the Quit menu item in The Tilery’s File menu. This helps prevent quitting from The Tilery accidentally. • Always Hide Others makes The Tilery automatically hide all applications except the frontmost one and The Tilery itself when you click a tile. This works only when you click a tile. You can get more than one application visible by using Hot Keys or other ways of switching, or by holding down the Shift key when you click a tile. See Hide Application in Application Tile Menus for a way to automatically hide specific applications when they are not in the foreground. • Finder to Front at Startup brings the Finder forward automatically when The Tilery is launched at system startup time. • Defer - See Deference for details on this feature, which helps keep The Tilery out of your way when you don’t need it. • Tilery Tips opens a small window containing a randomly-selected tip on how to get the most out of The Tilery.
